Study of the medical cannabis requires special equipment and should meet strict regulations. Our new facility is built in a full compliance with all these requirements. Following traditions of Israel pioneers in cannabinoid research we perform a highly multidisciplinary research, that includes synthetic chemistry of novel cannabinoid and endocannabinoid derivatives, biological assays of cannabinoids on disease models in cell culture and in lab animals, analytical chemistry of cannabinoids and terpenoids in cannabis plant, development of formulations that will improve cannabinoids solubility and bioavailability, development of cannabinoid combinations with other drugs to obtain synergistic action on diseases and also clinical trials planning. Our most recent projects involve work on the management of pain, inflammation and cancer. We work to develop future drugs inspired by the cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system
